HERMANTOWN, Minn.–The $140-million Hermantown Credit Union has a new name. It is now Centricity Credit Union.
“The name Hermantown Credit Union has served the credit union well since 1943,” the credit union said in a released statement. “However, over the years, the credit union has expanded into other areas, including Duluth and Superior.”
The credit union went on to say the name Centricity was the chosen to reflect a “member-centric service culture” and centrally located branches.
Centricity CU has nearly 17,000 members. It also has a new website here www.centricity.org
