SUMMERVILLE, S.C.–Heritage Trust FCU has named a president and chief operating officer. The credit union said it has selected Jason S. Lee to fill the positions.
Lee replaces CEO Jim McDaniel, who was with Heritage Trust for 22 years, the company said.
Prior to joining Heritage Trust, Lee was executive VP with the $810-million Orion FCU in Memphis, Tenn.
In a statement, HTFCU said Lee's experience includes retail, lending, accounting/finance, electronic services, legal counsel and strategic planning, among other areas.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jason to the distinguished role of president and chief operating officer at Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union," Chairman Troy Draughn said in a statement. "Jason boasts an impressive resume, and extensive experience across all areas of credit union finance and operations."
The $647-million Heritage Trust has approximately 50,000 members.
