RALEIGH, N.C.–Coastal Credit Union is marking its 50thAnniversary with “50 Forward,” a contest that will enable participants to nominate a deserving nonprofit to win a $5,000 donation.
A link to the online entry form is available on Coastal’s microsite, bankbetter.org and on Coastal’s Facebook page. Entrants are asked to identify a nonprofit within the 16 counties where Coastal does business, and briefly describe why the nonprofit is deserving of a donation and what it does that is meaningful to the person nominating it. Five nonprofits will be selected at random to win $5,000, Coastal said.
“We’ve spent the past 50 days looking back on the impact we’ve made in the lives of our members and community over the past five decades,” said Coastal spokesperson Joe Mecca. “50 Forward is the kickoff to our next 50 years of serving the community, and lets our members pay it forward to the organizations they see doing great work.”
The contest runs through Sept. 22.
