BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – America’s First Credit Union has revamped its checking account offerings.
“AmFirst will begin offering new account services with the sole purpose of making lives easier by offering the best features available in a checking account designed to meet financial needs at any stage of the members’ lives,” the credit union said.
All current checking members will be converted to the new products in April. Among the new offerings:
- “Thrive” is the new mainline checking account designed to serve the needs of any member at any stage of their adult life, AmFirst said.
- “LevelUp” is designed for teenagers as an introduction in managing money.
- “Launch” is designed for those that may have some past credit challenges, helping to set members back on the road to financial stability, the credit union said.
America’s First added each account includes benefits such as ways to earn rewards, no cost ATM or debit cards, unlimited check writing, e-statements with images, bill pay, and more.
“I’m very excited about the rollout of our new checking accounts,” said President/CEO Bill Connor. “We’ve simplified the choices into three feature-rich options designed to fit our member’s needs at various stages of their life. We’re enhancing the value of checking with AmFirst even more.”
