WACO, Texas–The $55-million Heart O’ Texas FCU has named a new CEO.
Melissa Hagenbuch has been named as president/CEO effective Monday, Dec. 7.
“Melissa brings a broad background of credit union experience, and we are certain she will provide dynamic and effective leadership to our credit union for years to come,” stated Ronald Fritz, chairman of the board, in a statement.
Hagenbuch was previously with Energy Capital Credit Union, where she served as vice president member service and was responsible for all aspects of operations, the training department, and call center. In her role, Hagenbuch increased branch loan production by 45% and improved overall member service performance levels, according to the Cornerstone CU League.
The executive search was led by Credit Union Resources.
