HONOLULU— Beginning in 2024, a new TV series featuring Hawaii Central FCU focused on financial education will begin appearing on local television.
The series is set to air on `Olelo Community Media’s Channel 53 starting Jan. 17, with new episodes appearing every third Wednesday at 6 p.m. and then re-airing on the following Sunday at 10:30 am.
The $325-million Hawaii Central FCU said it will tackle an important topic in the premiere episode titled “Save the House for the Kids.” It will feature guest speaker Herb Hussey of Windward Financial who will share four scenarios in which local families can use a financial product to ensure their home passes to their children.
“Over the course of the season, the series will cover a variety of topics and is designed to help individuals plan for the future and, oftentimes, unexpected circumstances,” the credit union said.
