MADISON, Wis.—CUES Elite Access, the virtual Ivy League executive education experience, will continue in 2015 with three courses, including a new offering Strategic HR Leadership.
That program will join Leadership Brand and Shadow and Women Who Lead, according to the organization.
“CUES is again partnering with Cornell University, who we have worked with since 1996, on the CEO Institute program,” said Chuck Fagan, CUES’ president/CEO. “I’m pleased to continue this tradition, in a new, smart way. CUES Elite Access makes high-level education available to today’s busy executive—without travel. It’s estimated that by the year 2020, 50% of the workforce will be made up of the millennial generation—those born after 1980. This is significant because this generation was raised using, and learning through, digital technology—the basis for CUES Elite Access.”
Strategic HR Leadership is new in 2015. It features a series of six Cornell courses bookended by instructor-led virtual classroom sessions, customized specifically for CUES. Those who complete the program will receive the CUES/Cornell Advanced Certificate in Strategic HR Management, and 36 recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), CUES said.
Leadership Brand and Shadow helps attendees identify their key leadership value proposition, and assess whether it helps them meet their career objectives. Women Who Lead focuses on three pathways to achieving power: developing sponsorships, building and leveraging networks, and negotiating for resources. For info: www.cues.org/eliteaccess(
