OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.–Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb (R) used Credit Union House of Oklahoma to officially announce plans to run for governor.
Lamb then left Credit Union House to travel to the state capitol to formally file his candidacy for governor, according to the Cornerstone Credit Union League.
Lamb is one of six candidates seeking the Republican nomination. Wednesday was the start of Oklahoma’s three-day filing for candidates in legislative and statewide offices. Oklahoma’s primary elections are June 26.
At the event at Credit Union House, which served as a rally for supporters, a number of others were also on hand, including legislators and General Tommy Franks (Ret.), former commander of the U.S. Central Command and a supporter of Lamb.
