WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.–Guardians Credit Union has honored its retiring, CEO, John Deese, by naming its service center in his name.
A plague at the service center says the building was named “In honor of his retirement as CEO and in recognition of his outstanding commitment and distinguished 44 years of service to Guardians Credit Union, its members, the community and the credit union movement. The Service Center exemplifies the selfless service, caring and cooperative spirit Mr. Deese instilled in his credit union family.”
As CUToday.info reported earlier, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates also presented Deese with its 2021 Distinguished Service Award. The Distinguished Service award recognizes lifelong service to the credit union movement reaching beyond the natural person credit union.
