TUKWILA, Wash.—Continued growth by Boeing Employees CU (BECU) has led it to purchase an additional office building for $15.2 million.
The new building is located adjacent to BECU’s current headquarters, and adds 62,700-square-feet to the 150,000 square feet BECU already uses. The Puget Sound Business Journal said the new building is already fully occupied by other tenants, all of which have different leasing options. The Business Journal quoted a BECU exec saying plans call for the credit union to eventually take over the new building. BECU has grown to 884,000 members.
