GrooveCar Set to Host ‘Ultimate Year-End Auto Sales Event’

Frank Rinaudo

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.—GrooveCar is preparing to host its “Ultimate Year-End Auto Sales Event.”
The objective of the sale, to run from Oct. 20-30, is to pass savings on to credit union members, the company said.  is all about passing the savings onto credit union members, the company stated.

Long Island area credit unions are offering a $300 savings certificate off the member’s best deal from participating dealerships.

“This is our annual sale and credit unions are pulling out all the stops during this promotion period. Each year excitement builds for credit unions, area dealerships who have an extra incentive to move end of the year inventory, and members who benefit from all the savings,” said Frank Rinaudo, senior vice president of GrooveCar Inc.

Rinaudo said that the fall is traditionally the best time of year for consumers to purchase a new vehicle.

“Dealerships are looking to clear inventory to make room for new models, and are very motivated to sell,” said Rinaudo. “GrooveCar conducts sales to provide the best value to our partners and their clients: the credit union, dealership and member. We are in the business of facilitating the car purchase transaction between three parties, and these sales are an effective means to capitalize on those relationships.

“Delivering the best deal on auto loans and vehicles from participating dealerships is what this sale is all about,” continued Rinaudo. “It comes as no secret that buyers prefer to get their loans directly from credit unions with auto loan rates 21% below the industry average. The auto sale is a great reminder for members to look towards their credit unions for remarkable benefits. Credit unions are rewarding members with that extra savings obtained during these 10 days.”

GrooveCar reaches nearly one-million members in the region during its auto sale, Rinaudo noted.

“The GrooveCar program is customized for credit unions with marketing support materials to educate and inform members on the auto buying process; this helps members make the best decisions possible,” he said. “In addition to running the sale with the credit unions and auto dealerships, GrooveCar provides all the tools needed to make the sale a success. We begin planning this sale months in advance, working with our credit union partners on the right messaging they need to reach the member.”

GrooveCar’s member service representatives work with the dealerships and members to make sure everyone’s needs are met, right down to having the right paperwork, Rinaudo added.

“Keeping credit unions informed of member activities, closing auto deals and helping members get the best pricing are incorporated into the program,” he said. “The process may start online, but it ends with a happy member driving home in the vehicle of their dreams.”
