MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—Google Pay, the unified payments service that bundles all of the company’s different services together, has launched this week.
However, it will take Google Pay a while before it can call itself a complete payments service, according to one report. That’s because the service has launched without peer-to-peer payments.
“The app's possibly most important functionality is not out,” stated PhoneArena.com. “Peer-to-peer payments between users seem to be a big no-no at the moment, but this important feature is coming to the U.S. and the U.K. in the following months.”
