Garden Savings FCU Rolls Out New Media Campaign—Literally

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Garden Savings Federal Credit Union has launched a new advertising campaign using signage on buses that run out of Newark and touch the credit union’s other markets, including Maplewood, Dover and Parsippany.

The ads appear on both the inside and outside of the busses, and have support from a large billboard in Newark.

Garden Savings’ CEO, Michael Powers, was quoted by the New Jersey CU League as saying, “We believe that one of the best ways to highlight the credit union advantage is to go right after the major differences between our industry and the larger banks. Those differences are usually service-centric but also key in on very obvious, tangible differences such as fee-free checking accounts and the fact that our members are our owners. We’ve attempted to showcase all of that with this campaign.”

The Garden Savings buses will run through the end of July from three different bus garages that cover three counties, the league reported.
