PARSIPPANY, N.J.–Garden Savings FCU has introduced an artificial intelligence-powered phone assistant named, Alex.
According to the $414-million credit union, Alex has been designed to assist members calling in to the contact center and can help with information on checking, savings or loan accounts.
“He can help people inquiring on how to join the credit union and how to find the nearest ATM or Branch location,” GSFCU said. “Alex learns more and more after each call and question he receives which helps launch member service into the future at Garden Savings Federal Credit Union.
“Our members deserve this kind of investment because they have come to expect the highest level of service and security from Garden Savings. Alex has already cut down call times by nearly half, and he just started,” said Garden Savings Chief Sales Officer Tom Quigley “He is a work in progress, so we encourage all our members to give him a try.”
The credit union has more than 25,000 members.
