TAMPA, Fla.– GTE Financial Credit Union has introduced a new program through which employees can qualify for loan discounts.
The program offers a discount on auto loans with 2% off the approved rate tier and a 1% rate discount on a GTE Mortgage with a new program called Employee Home Loan Plan.
In addition, employees who purchase auto insurance with GTE Insurance will receive an additional .25% discount, while those participating in the Employee Home Loan Plan can now qualify for a 1% rate discount. Employees are eligible for assistance up to $15,000, with long-term employees of over 10 years of service eligible for up to $20,000.
“There is also potential for forgiven down payment assistance, waived lender origination fees and mortgage insurance (PMI) requirements, and further savings in the form of lender closing cost credits for employees who purchase homeowner’s insurance with GTE Insurance and close with GTE title,” the credit union said.
