UTICA, N.Y. — A branch of GPO Federal Credit Union was robbed Friday, the Rome Sentinel reported.
The location on Genesee Street on the city's south side was robbed shortly before 9 a.m., the Utica Police Department said.
Police reports indicate an unknown suspect entered the credit union and threatened the teller, demanding money. The amount of money stolen was not disclosed.
Police said no weapon was displayed and nobody was hurt. The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, the Rome Sentinel said.
The search remains ongoing for the suspect, police stated.
