RICHLAND, Wash.—Every time members swipe their Gesa CU Visa debit card they are supporting local high school sports programs.
The $1.7-billion CU is partnering with the Richland School District on the debit card program, KEPRtv.com reported.
Gesa President and CEO Don Miller said the debit card program is a continuation of its efforts to support local high schools, the news station said.
“Richland School District is where our high school credit union program began and our partnership has well exceeded our goal of promoting financial literacy among students,” Miller explained.
