TUCKER, Ga.–GEMC Financial Credit Union has announced a name change. The CU, which is marking its 50th anniversary, is now Go Energy Financial. The credit union was founded to serve employees of Georgia Electric Membership Cooperatives.
“Georgia’s electrical cooperatives inspire us,” said Denise Swan, Go Energy Financial CEO “We have a focus through our name to honor Georgia’s EMC community and rededicate ourselves to helping even more of our neighbors go where they want to go in life.”
The $127-million Go Energy Financial has approximately 12,600 members.
