ROME, Ga.—Coosa Valley Credit Union has named Andy F. Harris as its new president/CEO.
Harris will succeed Ron Tomlinson, who is retiring. Harris is VP-lending and member support services, and has been with the credit union since 2010.
In Texas, Andy Reed has been named CEO of the $21-million Texas People FCU. Reed was previously with the $5.6-billion American Airlines FCU.
In Gloversville, N.Y., Brenda S. Coon has been named as its new president and CEO.
In Kalamazoo, Mich., Educational Community CU has named Julie Blitchok as its new president and CEO, succeeding Charles Cornelius, who is retiring after 36 years of service.
Blitchok has 23 years of credit union executive and leadership experience. For the past 13 years, she has served as SVP of retail operations for Lake Michigan Credit Union, in Grand Rapids, Mich. Her prior experience also includes serving as CEO for smaller and mid-sized credit unions and as a board member for the Michigan Credit Union League.
