GREENVILLE, S.C. — Founders FCU said it is partnering with Clemson University and JMI Sports on a seven-year partnership that expands Founders’ commitment to Clemson Athletics and the university itself.
Founders is now the Official Credit Union Partner of the Clemson Tigers and Clemson University, and will “have an enhanced presence in the Clemson community with expanded visibility in athletics and greater integration into campus life and student events,” the organizations said.
In addition, Founders FCU said it will now be offering its members a Clemson cobranded debit card this fall.
“Founders believes in supporting universities throughout our service areas and we are a longstanding supporter of Clemson University,” said Bruce Brumfield, Founders president and CEO, in a statement. “This enhanced partnership will allow us to become an integral part of both the athletic and the on-campus Clemson experience.”
The $2-billion Founders FCU is the presenting sponsor of the Homecoming football game and its brand will be especially prominent throughout Littlejohn Coliseum as seen on the basketball court and other areas, according to the parties.
Founders said it will enhance life on campus for Clemson students through its active sponsorship of major events and programs year-round, including being a proud partner of Clemson’s new bike share program, supporter of Campus Recreation and more.
