FLORENCE, S.C.–Founders Federal Credit Union is installing ATMs to 20 South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicle locations in addition to 15 other companies throughout the state. The machines will be surcharge-free to members.
ATM service company AOne is handling the placement of the new machines, which will bring to 59 the total number of ATMs AOne operates for South Carolina FCU.
"With a large fleet of ATMs, we see a significant cost savings by outsourcing our off-premise machines to AOne," said Joe McCain, Founders' chief procurement officer, in a statement. "It is also very important to us that we are protected from a regulatory perspective. AOne handles all of that for us and provides us with all the documentation our regulators demand."
Founders has ATMs stationed at SEGs that include Westinghouse, Shutterfly, Draxlmaier, Black & Decker, US Foods, DISH Network and Giti Tire and on college campuses.
