Former Robins Financial Credit Union CEO, Edward Levins, Passes

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -  Edward “Buck” Levins, former President and CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union, has died, the credit union reported.

Mr. Levins passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born Jan. 1, 1942, in Montezuma, Georgia, Levins’ life was marked by dedication, leadership, and service. He committed 40 years of his career to Robins Financial Credit Union, where he played a significant role in the organization’s growth and long-term stability.

During his tenure, Mr. Levins was a strong advocate for the credit union movement at both the state and national levels. He played an instrumental role in the passage of the Credit Union Membership Access Act, commonly known as HR 1151, legislation that protected and expanded credit unions’ ability to serve their members. His leadership during this pivotal time helped ensure continued access to affordable financial services for millions of Americans, the organization stated.

“Mr. Levins’s leadership had a meaningful impact on the credit union industry as a whole,” said Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union. “We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
