PALESTINE, Texas–Judy Ann Florence Underwood Pugh, who retired as manager of Anderson Country FCU at year-end 2018, has died. Ms. Hugh passed away at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas, surrounded by family and friends, the Cornerstone Credit Union League reported.
Pugh led Anderson County FCU for 32 years prior to her retirement.
“Not only did she love her job, she loved her employees and her members,” the Cornerstone league said. “Judy loved being able to help people, not just by making them a loan but by taking a personal interest in their needs. She would give you the shirt off her back. She was always there for her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.”
