SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb.–A former credit union manager here has been sentenced to time served plus five years of supervised release after being convicted of fraud.
Christine Darley,45, was ordered to pay restitution of $139,878.92 as part of the sentence.
According to prosecutors, between August 2010 and June 12, 2012, Darley, while manager of Panhandle FCU, stole funds that she then deposited into her accounts at the credit union and at a local bank. Authorities said Darley’s actions resulted in a loss to the credit union of more than $200,000.
Darley had earlier pleaded guilty to wire fraud. Three other counts were dismissed.
