JANESVILLE, Wis.–Effective today, Mid America Bank will begin operating as Advia Credit Union. Advia acquired the bank in February of this year.
It has branches in its home market, as well as Williams Bay, Waukesha, and Madison.
Mike Jones, president and CEO of Mid America Bank, is now regional vice president of the Wisconsin and Illinois region for Advia Credit Union. He will oversee a region that includes a total of six branches. Plans are also underway for an anticipated full branch expansion in Waukesha and Madison, Wis.
In addition to an expanded membership, 20 employees of the former bank are now employees of the $1.3-billion Advia Credit Union.

The credit union said system integration will be complete in October.
