NORTH PLAINS, Ore.– For the first time in two years, the Credit Unions for Kids Northwest Classic will take place in July.
Founded by First Tech Federal Credit Union, the event brings together business leaders and credit unions from across the region to raise money for Credit Unions for Kids and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, organizers noted, adding the Credit Union for Kids Northwest Classic tournament has become one of the largest credit union-sponsored events supporting Credit Unions for Kids in the nation, and has raised over $10.7 million since inception.
Organizers further noted that 100% of every dollar donated will go directly to the hospital partners, with First Tech covering all fundraising expenses.
“This year, the tournament hopes to raise more than $1 million for children’s hospitals across the region, funding cutting-edge medical research, innovative therapies and treatments, and world-class care for children in our communities,” organizers said.
The Beneficiaries
Event proceeds benefit several children's hospitals, including: Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Peace Health Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital – Riverbend, Seattle Children’s Hospital, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and more.
The event is scheduled for Monday, July 11 at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course in North Plains, ore.
