COSTA MESA, Calif.–Some people shopping at the Christmas Tree House here received a surprise present–a free tree or a deep discount on a tree.
Wescom Credit Union has sponsored 16 Christmas tree lots around Southern California, pitching in money to help pay up to $100 per tree for customers. Wescom spent $2,000 at each lot.
This was the fourth year the credit union has made the donations through its Random Acts of Wescom Kindness program.
