BROOKFIELD, Wis.—Fiserv has announced the availability of Prologue Financials, a fully updated accounting suite that features enhanced, built-in automation and controls and a newly designed user interface, enabling users to increase the efficiency of financial accounting processes.

Fiserv said that Prologue Financials delivers consistent, reliable data about daily financial operations and allows bank and credit union accounting and finance managers to automate and streamline day-to-day processing, month-end reporting and reduce manual accounting efforts. Prologue Financials users have cited up to a 90% time savings in comparison to previous manual processes and up to a 70% reduction in the time required for month-end close.
“The solution’s new user interface simplifies access to financial data within the application, allowing users to configure process flow and streamline report generation for improved productivity. Users also have the ability to create favorites and easily customize queries and reporting to their specific requirements. The Prologue Financials suite from Fiserv includes modules for accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, investment portfolios and procurement. The modules can be implemented separately or as a comprehensive suite.
Financial information from Prologue Financials can be seamlessly integrated with insights from other Fiserv risk management and performance management solutions to provide clients with a more unified, accurate and manageable view of their overall business performance, Fiserv said.
