NAPERVILLE, Ill.—The first winner in Alloya Corporate FCU’s “10 for 10 for 10” promotion has been named: PARC.
As CUToday.info has reported, Alloya is celebrating its 10th anniversary, which falls on Oct. 24, by donating $10,000 to 10 charities over 10 days.
PARC, ServiceSource affiliate, was nominated by Horizon Utah FCU in Farmington, Utah. The organization is dedicated to facilitating services, resources and partnerships to support people with disabilities and others they serve, along with their families, caregivers and community members in order to build more inclusive communities.
“Horizon Utah Federal Credit Union elected to nominate this organization due to the services that PARC provides not only to the recipient, but also their families and the community at large,” Alloya said. “They believe that PARC’s assistance helps those with disabilities become contributing members of the community and that the enthusiasm of the individuals involved with the program lifts and enlightens others around them. Horizon Utah Federal Credit Union proudly serves over 13,000 members throughout Davis, Morgan and Weber counties in Utah. The 10 for 10 for 10charity nomination and selection process is being driven by Alloya’s 1,400 credit union members, the corporate said. In total, credit unions nominated 101 charities between Sept. 27 and Oct. 8. In the days leading up to its 10-year anniversary, Alloya is announcing the winners of its charitable donation program through a daily announcement at 10:00 am CT on its website at www.alloyacorp.org/winyour10. In addition, CUToday.info will also announce each day’s winner. The program concludes on Monday, Oct. 25.
