BEAVERTON, Ore./MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.–First Tech FCU said it has kicked off with donations to six Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the result of the most recent Dave and Dan Classic golf tournament, presented by First Tech.
The 2016 tournament raised a record-breaking $1.1 million dollars to benefit Credit Unions for Kids and CMN Hospitals.
“First Tech’s contributions to the kids started 30 years ago, as a founding member of Credit Unions for Kids,” said Joe Dearborn, senior director, Credit Unions for Kids at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “Their dedication to bringing the community together to support CMN Hospitals is unsurpassed. These most recent donations will support thousands of children across our medical facilities, provide access to critical services and create the lasting infrastructure needed to fuel innovative treatments for years to come.”
The funds will be allocated toward everything from uncompensated care and cutting-edge medical research, to necessary hospital supplies and supportive services for affected families.
The 2016 CMN Hospitals benefiting include:
- Doernbecher Children's Hospital (Portland, Ore.) – $470, 000 donation
- Seattle Children's Hospital – $125,000 donation
- UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital (Oakland, Calif.) – $100,000 donation
- UC Davis Children's Hospital (Sacramento, Calif.) – $100,000 donation
- PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center (Eugene, Ore.) – $30,000 donation
- Children’s Hospital Colorado (Denver) – $30,000 donation
