First Financial Reports Members Saw More Than $2M in Rebates as Part of Program During 2022

SPARKS, Md.–First Financial Credit Union reported its members received more than $2.3-million in rebates as part of its quarterly rewards program during 2022.

The $1.2-billion credit union said it awards cash rewards to its members based on the products and services each member utilizes throughout the year.  First Financial Visa credit card holders can earn up to 2% cash rebates on purchases. In addition, members with a First Financial debit card receive rebates by using their debit card for cash back purchases, and those with a Better Rewards Checking account receive a debit card rebate of one half of 1% on every non-PIN-based transaction, FFCU stated.

In the last quarter of 2022 alone, members earned over $612,000 in rebates.

“First Financial’s foundation is built upon the loyalty of our members,” said President/CEO Eric Church. “We are so thankful for their commitment to the credit union, and our rewards program is one of the ways that we show our appreciation for their membership. It was a great way to end 2022, and our members can look forward to even greater rewards in 2023.”

First Financial has more than 65,000 members.
