SANTA FE, N.M.—During the recent Thanksgiving holiday, on-duty firefighters here received a warm holiday meal courtesy of Del Norte Credit Union.
Delicious turkey meals with all the trimmings, purchased through an area supermarket as well as a local restaurant, were delivered to seven Santa Fe City fire stations, five Los Alamos County fire stations, as well as Española Fire Rescue.
“This is our way to help make the day a little brighter for these public servants who keep our communities safe, especially since many of them will miss their family meals,” said Chuck Valenti, president/CEO of Del Norte Credit Union.
Del Norte CU staff delivered the meals on Thanksgiving Day. This is the fourth consecutive year that Del Norte has provided holiday meals to on‐duty firefighters.
