CUES Webinar: ‘Confidence Gap’
- The CUES RealTalk! Podcast will tackle “the confidence gap” between men and women in the workplace when the discussion takes place on June 22 from 12-1 p.m. ET. “RealTalk! covers important, but often hard to discuss, issues impacting the credit union industry and is focusing on the theme ‘Women in the Workforce: Because $0.82 is NOT Enough’,” CUES said. Attendees will hear from a panel of experts, CUES said, with the session moderated by Laurie J. Maddalena, CEO of Envision Excellence. Panelists will include Bryn C. Conway, principal of BC Consulting; Sara Jensen, SVP-governance and administration with CO-OP Solutions, and Soma Sarkar, EVP/COO. For info, go here.
NCUA Webinar: Small CUs
- NCUA will host a June 22 webinar on the hurdles in front of smaller credit unions—those below $100 million in assets—that will include a discussion of strategies for addressing those challenges, the agency said. The “Small Credit Union Challenges” will run from 2-3 p.m. ET. To register, go here.
NCUA Webinar: Call Reports
- On, June 23, NCUA will host another webinar during which credit unions will be able to ask the agency questions about the March 2022 call report cycle, while also learning about improvements coming up for the June cycle. The “Preparing for the June 2022 Call Report Cycle” webinar will run for about 90 minutes, beginning at 2 p.m. ET. To register, go here.
WOCCU Webinar: ESG Risks
- Noting CUs are “not immune” fromthe dynamic Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks and opportunities that all organizations are “grappling with,” WOCCU will host a webinar on the issue on June 22 at 9 a.m. E.T. The webinar will be led by Christopher Geiger, director of internal audit at Lockheed Martin and a of Director at Midflorida Credit Union. To register, go here.
