FLINT, Mich. — For the second year, Financial Plus Credit Union has launched its “Billboards of Inclusion: Minority Business Spotlight” Project. This initiative awards three small businesses four weeks of free billboard advertising.
The $1.37-billion credit union is accepting entries through July 12.
“We’re excited to bring back Billboards of Inclusion for 2024,” Allen Williams, diversity, equity and inclusion business partner at Financial Plus, said in a statement. “This year, we have the opportunity to recognize a third business owner and further diversify our applicant pool. The project reflects Financial Plus’ unwavering commitment to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and the growth of local minority-owned businesses.”
According to Financial Plus, the Billboards of Inclusion Project will undergo a thorough selection process, with a committee selecting the three winners.
