INDIANAPOLIS–Financial Center First Credit Union has launched a “Health Savings Hub,” which it is calling a “custom developed platform” crafted to provide employer partners a simplified Health Savings Account (HSA) management experience.
“This new portal provides convenience for participating Human Resource teams, offering a suite of features that prioritize efficiency and transparency in managing participation of their employees in our HSA program,” FCFCU stated. “With hundreds of employer partners participating in our HSA program, the Hub will position the Credit Union for continued growth in expanding employer partners and create capacity for our HSA team to serve members and partners more effectively.”
Financial Center said the program was designed by gathering feedback from existing HSA partners.
The Features
According to the $847-million FCFCU, the Hub provides many features including:
- Opening new accounts using batch census data or manual additions.
- Providing current funding data and the ability to view employee engagement in the HSA program.
- Self-administration for plan, contribution, or employment changes.
- Executive level reporting for usage, funding, and participation.
Focus for CU
In a statement announcing its new offering, the credit union said it has for several years made digital innovation a focus, and it developed the platform itself while working with Trabian to build a custom portal that includes commonly requested features.
"Our mission revolves around being better, faster, and easier for our members – and that promise extends to our employer partners, too,” said President and CEO Cam Minges. “Hub is a testament to our dedication not to take the easy route, but to develop systems and processes that truly solve problems. I’m excited about the transformative impact it will have."
