WASHINGTON—The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is seeking nominations for financial institutions and trade groups for membership in its Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group (BSAAG).
The BSAAG is the means by which the Treasury receives advice on the operations of the Bank Secrecy Act. Each FI selected is to identify one individual who is knowledgeable about Bank Secrecy Act requirements and must be able and willing to make the necessary time commitment to participate on subcommittees throughout the year by phone and attend biannual plenary meetings held in Washington D.C. the second Wednesday of May and October. Nominees are expected to explain why their organization’s participation on the BSAAG will bring value to the group.
