MADISON, Wis.–Filene has announced a pair of upcoming webinars.
The first, “The Key to Realizing Value from Data Analytics: Are You Ready?” will be held April 14 from 12-1 p.m. ET, while the second, “The Next Step for Innovation: The Lab at Filene,” is scheduled for April 19, also from 12-1 p.m.
In the former webinar, Filene said it will be sharing “the first benchmark insights on credit union analytics maturity and readiness discovered through our industry-wide Data Analytics Survey launched this past winter.”
Filene Fellow Cheri Speier-Pero, who is associate dean at Michigan State University, will lead a conversation into the drivers of data readiness, Filene said, that will include Taylor Nelms, senior director of research with Filene.
The webinar will examine:
- How to transition from a back-looking, dashboard-driven analytics environment to a forward-facing analytics practice that enables proactive strategy and decision-making.
- What an enabling analytics partnership ecosystem looks like.
- How to realize value from the four key data analytics and business intelligence capability areas.

Filene’s second webinar Filene will examine the “next step for innovation with The Lab at Filene.”
“Building on Filene’s 15-year track record of successful innovation and incubation we will discuss the industry’s ability to expand and scale solutions through quick and nimble tests in The Lab, dig into a testing portfolio that goes beyond fintechs and looks at a full range of innovation opportunities including new distribution channels, partnership strategies for impact and internal practices for attracting talent, and how credit unions who step up will play a central part of this innovative ecosystem,” Filene said.
The webinar will be led by Josh Sledge, senior director of incubation with Filene.
