According to Filene, “There are leadership skills that demonstrate more possibilities than others. The upcoming webinar…will explore one type of leadership where loneliness and burnout cannot thrive.”

WOCCU Webinar on Risks, Opportunities in ESG
Separately, WOCCU will host a webinar titled “Driving Action and Disclosure on ESG Risks and Opportunities” on May 24.
The webinar will begin at 11 a.m. ET.
“Credit unions are not immune from the dynamic Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks and opportunities that all organizations are grappling with,” WOCCU said. “These issues (e.g. climate stress testing, diversity and inclusion challenges, etc.) require an updated governance framework and coherent communication to stakeholders including members, employees, business partners, communities, and regulators.
“This session introduces the double materiality concept as a way to analyze these issues and integrate them into your organizational governance. In addition, sustainability assurance methods are outlined to complement the growing importance of non-financial data to decision making and disclosure,” WOCCU continued. “Demonstrate to your stakeholders that you are systemically identifying, assessing and responding to sustainability issues.”
The session will be led by Christopher Geiger, director of internal audit for Lockheed Martin and member of the board at Midflorida Credit Union.
