Filene To Host Colloquia Tied To Its 5 Centers of Excellence

MADISON, WIS.–The Filene Research Institute is inviting credit union industry leaders to attend a research colloquium tied to each of five Centers of Excellence. Located throughout the country, these day-long events explore in-depth issues affecting credit unions and consumer finance, Filene said.
“Filene’s colloquia bring expert professionals and university professors together with credit union executives to examine new research and explore trends and insights affecting our industry,” said Andrew Downin, managing director of research for Filene. “Don’t plan on sitting back and listening, come prepared to engage!”

Collective Intelligence | Center for Performance and Operational Excellence
April 6 at the Quadrus Conference Center in Palo Alto, Calif.
Filene Fellow Huggy Rao and guests will contribute thoughts on how knowledge sharing can strengthen and benefit your organization.
Sorting the Hype Cycle | Center for Emerging Technology
May 18 at the University of California - Irvine in Orange County, Calif.
Filene Fellow Richard Swart and guests share their experiences on financial industry trends, reasons for consumer adoption and the types of technology credit unions should consider partnering with, competing against, or investing in.
Structured for Innovation | Center for Organizational Entrepreneurship
June 15 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.
Filene Fellow Dennis Campbell and guests will discuss organizational innovation, and contribute insights on how credit unions can maneuver their organizations towards innovation that best serves their members.
America’s Got Talent | Center for War for Talent
September 14 at The University of Texas in Austin, Texas
Hosted by Filene Fellow Sekou Bermiss, attendees will discover how best to attract, develop and promote top talent within the credit union industry.
