WASHINGTON–The Federal Reserve’s new instant payments system, FedNow, will be the subject of a “town hall” webinar today.
The webinar will feature representatives from financial institutions already using the service, according to the Fed, which said the 90-minute virtual event will include panel discussions among those current users who will also describe how “they’re supporting a variety of use cases with instant payments.”
The virtual event will also include previews from Fed leaders on what’s next for the FedNow service and “future engagement” opportunities, the Fed stated.
There is no charge for the event, although advance registration is required.
FedNow was introduced in July and a number of credit unions and corporate CUs are already active on the solution.
