ORLANDO, Fla.—Fairwinds Credit Union is poised to announce a sponsorship deal with the expansion team here that will be a part of Major League Soccer.
As first reported by Sportspromedia.com, Fairwinds will become the official credit union of the team, which will be called Orlando City Soccer Club, will be a founding partner, and will release a team logo-branded debit card. Moreover, it will have signage rights at the club's interim Citrus Bowl home, as well as at its new soccer-specific stadium, which is under construction and set to open in 2016.
The team will join the league for the beginning of next season, in early 2015, alongside fellow expansion franchise New York City FC.
