MADISON, Wis.– Dana Murn-Kohal, professional development and innovation manager with the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES), has been named by the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE) as the recipient of the first-ever WSAE Young Professional Award.
The WSAE Awards Committee was inspired by Murn-Kohal’s enthusiasm and involvement in the organization to create the new award that honors young professionals making a difference in the association.
Murn-Kohal joined WSAE in 2012, and has been heavily involved in the organization since. She is a part of the member engagement committee working to keep WSAE members involved and active in the association. Murn-Kohal also frequently contributes blogs and articles, focusing on the latest in technology and innovation, highlighting ways associations can utilize technology to their advantage.
Murn-Kohal received a partial scholarship from WSAE to attend the Institute for Organizational Management, and made a presentation at the WSAE Innovation Summit about her experiences there.
