MCLEAN, Va.—Despite a tightening of lending standards by credit card issuers, attractive offers for new sign-ups just keep coming.
New applicants for the $95-annual-fee Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card have a shot at earning a welcome bonus of up to 100,000 Venture miles, which is double the previous amount.
The new, two-part offer is structured as follows: New cardholders can earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $20,000 on purchases within the first 12 months of account opening, or they can still earn 50,000 miles if they spend $3,000 on purchases within the first three months of account opening, Forbes reported.
“The increased offer retains the previous upfront welcome bonus but offers new cardholders a chance to double their total bonus miles by putting all or most of their spending on their Venture card in their first year of card ownership,” Forbes noted.
