MADISON, Wis.–A webinar on “Entrepreneurship’s Role in Achieving Economic Growth” will be hosted by the Filene Research Institute today. The event will begin at 12 p.m. E.T.
According to Filene, the webinar will focus on how emerging entrepreneurs are an untapped market that can lead to growth and a more inclusive and equitable economic landscape.
“In an era of tightening margins and the ongoing quest for new growth opportunities (for deposits, interest income, and non-interest income), serving small businesses and local entrepreneurs is an ideal way for credit unions to simultaneously fulfill their mission and strengthen their bottom line,” Filene said.
‘Powerful Intersection’
It added that the special session will explore the “powerful intersection of racial economic equity and entrepreneurship.”
In addition, Filene said the event will also include an “exciting announcement” related to its new Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Incubator and how it can help a credit union leverage the untapped market and drive a more inclusive and equitable economic landscape.
