Ent Expands Rewards Program; Expects To Pay Out $10 Million

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Ent Credit Union said it has expanded its “Ent Extras program,” which should lead to members receiving more than $10 million during 2017 as a result.

The program rewards members annually for using specific credit union products and services. Under the expanded program, members will automatically earn annual rewards for select deposit and loan products as well as electronic services, including:

  • $10 for actively using online or mobile banking
  • $10 for an activated debit card
  • $10 for receiving eStatements only
  • $25 for an auto, RV or motorcycle loan
  • $50 for a home equity line of credit
  • $75 for a mortgage loan

“At Ent, we pride ourselves on the exceptional service and high-quality products and services we offer our members. As a credit union we’re a financial cooperative – meaning that we return our earnings to our member-owners in the form of better rates, lower or no fees for services, and our expanded Ent Extras program,” said Randy Bernstein, Ent’s president and CEO, in a statement. “The Ent Extras program is one more way we illustrate how Ent is a different kind of financial institution.”

Ent launched Ent Extras in 2014 and allowed members to automatically earn annual rewards for having open consumer loans with the credit union. The credit union reported members received more than $3.8 million in Ent Extras rewards in 2016. Through the expanded Ent Extras program, Ent said it anticipates members will receive more than $10 million in rewards at the end of 2017.
