Ent CU Pays Out $11 Million In Ent Extra Rewards

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ent Credit Union said it is paying out more than $11 million from its 2018 Ent Extras rewards program.

The annual program rewards individuals based on their use of credit union products and services and not account balances. Annual reward amounts range from $10 for actively using online or mobile banking to $250 for a corporate loan, Ent said.

Members who were eligible to receive an Ent Extras reward were informed of the total amount they could expect to receive in mid-November. Deposits into their primary savings account(s) were received Dec. 1.

“We realize consumers today have a variety of types of financial institutions to choose from,” said Chad Graves, Ent’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our Ent Extras rewards program lets us remind our members of the value they receive by banking with Ent and illustrates how – as a not-for-profit financial cooperative – we are a different kind of financial institution.”

How Program Works

According to Ent, more than 300,000 member accounts received rewards, including:

  • $10 for actively using online or mobile banking
  • $10 for an activated debit card
  • $10 for receiving eStatements only
  • $25 for an auto, recreational vehicle or motorcycle loan
  • $50 for a home equity line of credit
  • $75 for a mortgage loan
  • $250 for a corporate loan

“The Ent Extras rewards program is just one of the many ways that we return value to our members,” added VP of Corporate Communications Victoria Selfridge. “We know that this time of year can evoke a certain level of financial stress for many. By rewarding members for their loyalty and use of our credit union just before the holidays, we hope that we’re able to make a positive impact on our members’ financial quality of life.”
