NASHVILLE, Tenn.–After introducing a solution called Enbright One to help employees manage their personal finances—including providing time at work to create and/or manage their budgets and create goals for saving, retirement and investing—the credit union said it is now expanding it to members.
The $85-million Enbright CU is launching Enbright One Checking, an overdraft protected account with no monthly fee.
“This program is aimed at achieving financial freedom for credit union employees and members.
“Designed with a vision to inspire and transform lives, the new program reflects Enbright Credit Union's commitment to supporting its employees and members in their journey towards financial independence,” the credit union said. “Enbright’s new mission statement is informed by the new program: ‘One team. One goal: Financial Freedom for all.’ By providing comprehensive tools, resources, and expert guidance, Enbright seeks to empower individuals to take control of their financial lives, break free from debt, and build a secure future.”
‘Wide Range’
Under the new program, employees and members of Enbright Credit Union will have access to a wide range of educational initiatives and personalized financial services, the credit union added, saying those include workshops, seminars, and webinars hosted by financial experts, covering topics such as budgeting, investing, debt management, and retirement planning.
“It was exciting to take a three-page mission statement and condense it into a logo that everyone can relate to as a common goal of not only Enbright CU but for all credit unions,” said President and CEO, Ron Smith.
Additional Resources
In addition to educational opportunities, Enbright said it will offer exclusive financial products and services tailored to the specific needs of employees and members. Enbright said it has committed to sponsoring all financial center managers, supervisors, and loan servicers to complete CUNA’s Financial Counseling Certification Program and become Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors.
“By focusing on financial freedom, Enbright seeks to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families, fostering long-term financial stability and creating opportunities for growth and prosperity,” the credit union added.
