GRAND BLANC, Mich. – ELGA Credit Union (ELGA CU) will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening of its new headquarters today.
The new headquarters is a 64,500-square-foot space in which “every design detail was thought through for the comfort and safety of staff and visitors,” the credit union said.
“Every ELGA CU associate has views of the exterior of the building. Floor-to-ceiling glass throughout the building on the exterior walls, interior offices and meeting spaces create natural lighting,” it stated.
The lobby of the building includes a “living wall” and a feature wall that will include names of donors that have supported the ELGA Credit Union Foundation for Impact’s Endowment Campaign. The lower level terrace overlooks a detention pond that will have natural and Michigan-native plants providing a home for amazing flora and wildlife, ELGA CU said.
“This new space will promote the culture of togetherness and making bold moves to improve the lives of our members and associates that ELGA CU has always stood for,” said President/CEO Terry Katzur. Our credit union is growing and evolving, and we have a new home that will grow and evolve with us.”
While many associates have moved to the new HQ, ELGA reported its presence at its Burton Administration building remains strong and it will continue to have a serve the market.
