CUMBERLAND, Ga.—Delta Community CU is moving and expanding its headquarters, leasing space in new 299,000-square-foot office building that will be completed in 2017.
The $4.8-billion Atlanta-based DCCU intends to relocate to Riverwood 200 here, the Marietta Daily Journal reported. The new office building is adjacent to the credit union’s existing office space at 3250 Riverwood Parkway and will be connected by a structured parking facility.
The move will increase Delta Community’s total administrative office space by 24,164 square feet.
Hank Halter, CEO of Delta Community, said the lease will allow Delta Community to consolidate administrative functions and establish a headquarters campus in Cumberland.
“As our business growth continues, this transaction will offer an excellent, long-term solution for our business needs, providing an efficient, cohesive arrangement for the employees of Delta Community,” he told the Marietta Daily Journal.
