DOVER, Del. — The Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA), of which the former Delaware CU League became a part in 2016, along with Delaware’s credit unions said they will host the first annual Credit Union Day on June 7 at Fraizer’s Restaurant from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Dover Federal Credit Union will join CCUA’s president, Paul Gentile, and fellow associate members as they invite Gov. John Carney and the senators and representatives of Delaware’s 149th General Assembly to Delaware’s First Annual Credit Union Day, according to the CCUA.
“The First Annual Credit Union Day is a great time to showcase the good work and positive influence that credit unions, such as Dover Federal, have made on the communities we serve,” said Dover FCU CEO Chaz Rzewnicki. “Working hand in hand with our legislatures, will allow us to collaborate on the changes to regulations that affect the industry while being proactive in providing solutions that will not have a negative impact on the operational stability of Delaware credit unions or the financial security of their tens of thousands of members.”
